Research Interests
Her work explores the complex interactions between societies and their coastal environments, focusing on climate-change adaptation, risk governance, cultural geography, and sustainable resource use. Comparative studies span the Caribbean, Latin America, Canada, the Maldives, and European coastal regions. A key thread is understanding how local knowledge, perceptions, and governance structures shape adaptive capacity and transformative pathways.
