Lidia Gaslikova

Dr. Lidia Gaslikova is a scientist at the Institute of Coastal Systems - Analysis and Modeling, part of Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon in Geesthacht, Germany. Her work focuses on coastal climate and regional sea level changes. She is actively involved in research projects such as WAKOS, EXTREMENESS, RISES-AM, and KLIMZUG-NORD, which address water management, storm surges, and climate change adaptation strategies.

Prior to her current role, she contributed to interdisciplinary research on urban flood risk dynamics through qualitative system dynamics modeling. Her expertise includes hydrodynamic modeling, statistical analysis of coastal processes, studying multi-decadal water level variability, and assessing climate-related risks in coastal regions.
