Beate Goldschmidt-Gjerløw is an Associate Professor at the University of Agder, specializing in Social Studies Didactics. She holds a PhD in Social Science Education and has extensive experience in Human Rights Education and Social Justice. Her affiliations include roles as Guest Editor of the Human Rights Education Review and contributor to the Nordic Perspectives on Human Rights Education book (Routledge, 2024). She teaches courses such as Social Studies Didactics and oversees bachelor’s theses in social studies.
