Bastien LANGE is a Teacher-Researcher in Plant Ecology and Quantitative Genetics at UniLaSalle, France, affiliated with the Department of Agricultural and Animal Sciences within the Agrosciences College. His research focuses on plant-environment interactions, metal tolerance in plants, and agroecosystem adaptation. He holds a PhD from Université Libre de Bruxelles (2016), co-directed with UniLaSalle, and an Agricultural Engineering degree from UniLaSalle (2012).
His expertise includes ecological engineering of degraded metal-rich habitats, plant-soil relationships in extreme edaphic conditions (e.g., Copperbelt regions of DR Congo), and crop adaptation to climate change.
