Bastian Carstensen

Bastian Carstensen is a Research Scientist at the Leibniz Institute for Science and Mathematics Education (IPN), affiliated with the Department of Educational Research and Educational Psychology. His work focuses on teacher well-being, social-emotional competence, and educational interventions.

His recent publications analyze pandemic impacts on student emotional exhaustion, stability models for burnout, and growth mindset effects on learning. These works span topics like emotional exhaustion, motivational psychology, and longitudinal studies.
