Bart Clarysse holds the Chair in Entrepreneurship at ETH Zürich as a full-time professor. He previously served as a full professor of Entrepreneurship at Imperial College London before joining ETH.
He earned a PhD and advised the European Commission on technology policy. His research focuses on technology ventures' market strategies in emerging fields like quantum dots and blockchain, as well as corporate adoption of entrepreneurial tools for renewal.
Bart consults for European governments and advises corporates including KLM, Belgacom, and BP on innovation and turnaround strategies. He authored the best-selling book *The Smart Entrepreneur: How to Build for a Successful Business* with Sabrina Kiefer.
