Barry Friedman

Barry Friedman is an Adjunct Professor at the Simon Business School, University of Rochester. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from The Ohio State University and a BA from the University of Rochester. His expertise spans Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, and Employee Satisfaction, with 25 years of industry experience at ExxonMobil, Xerox, and Harris Interactive.

Dr. Friedman has been recognized with the President’s Award for Scholarly and Creative Activity and Teaching Excellence, plus a Fulbright Scholarship to Germany. His research explores AI ethics, CSR authenticity, social media activism, and workplace wellness, with over 100 peer-reviewed publications in journals like Industrial Relations and Journal of Applied Psychology.
