Barry Eidlin

Barry Eidlin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at McGill University, located in the Faculty of Arts. His research focuses on political sociology, economic sociology, inequality, and social change, with a particular emphasis on labor movements, class politics, and comparative historical analysis. Eidlin holds a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley (2012).

His work examines divergent labor trajectories in the US and Canada, workplace democracy, union revitalization, and the intersection of social mobilization and political processes.
