Barry Crisp is a Lecturer in Marketing and Head of Year for first-year students at the University of Northampton's Faculty of Business and Law. He serves as the EDI Cultural Inclusion Champion and leads the Centre for Sustainable Business Practices. His expertise spans digital marketing, AI-driven strategies, sports technology, and workplace wellbeing. Crisp focuses on optimizing marketing communications through emerging technologies for SMEs and social enterprises, while exploring innovation in gaming and sports industries.

Research Interests:
Crisp investigates the intersection of strategic marketing and AI/IoT, particularly in resource-constrained environments. He examines how gaming and sports industries can enhance brand engagement through marketing techniques and explores innovation’s role in business resilience and workplace health. His work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals, emphasizing education and sustainable economic practices.
Professional Activities:
Crisp co-organized the 12th and 11th Global Healthy Workplace Awards and Summits (2023–2024). He serves as Marketing Director for the Global Centre for Healthy Workplaces and runs Crisp Consultancy, providing marketing strategy advice. His media engagements include discussions on workplace mental health and wellbeing economics.
