Barry Bayus

Barry Bayus is the Roy O. Rodwell Distinguished Professor of Marketing at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. His research focuses on innovation management, crowdsourcing, and product development strategies, with particular expertise in crowdfunding dynamics and technology innovation. Recognized among the world's top innovation scholars by leading journals.

Research examines crowdsourcing efficacy across domains from medical research to creative industries, investigating how task framing impacts idea quality and how persistence enhances innovation outcomes.
