Baris Yalabik is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) at the University of Bath's School of Management, specializing in Management Information, Decisions & Operations. He leads research in Sustainable Operations Management, focusing on circular economy principles, supply chain sustainability, and environmental innovation. His work addresses challenges in retail operations, food waste reduction, and industrial competitiveness. Yalabik actively engages in interdisciplinary projects, including healthcare innovation and higher education management.
Research Interests: His primary areas include reimagining business practices through sustainability lenses, leveraging analytical models for organizational decision-making, and exploring UN Sustainable Development Goals. He emphasizes empirical and simulation-based approaches to tackle complex operational challenges in both public and private sectors.
