Dr. Barbra Timmer is a Senior Lecturer in Audiology (Teaching & Research) at the University of Queensland and a Senior Scientist at Sonova AG. She holds dual roles bridging academia and industry, focusing on audiological outcomes for adults with hearing impairment. Her work emphasizes real-world challenges, teleaudiology, and stigma management in hearing care. She completed an MBA and PhD in Audiology, aiming to strengthen research-practice integration.
