Dr Barbora Jedlickova is a Senior Lecturer in the TC Beirne School of Law at the University of Queensland. She specializes in competition law, focusing on theories of competition, digital economy challenges, and comparative law. Her research addresses cartels, vertical restraints, AI's role in competition, and sustainability. She is President of the LIDC Australia/New Zealand chapter and affiliated with the Centre for Public, International and Comparative Law. Jedlickova holds a PhD from the University of Glasgow and has held visiting roles at institutions like the US Department of Justice and the EU Court of Justice.
Education: PhD in Law (University of Glasgow, 2012), LL.M. in International Competition Law (University of Glasgow, 2007), Master's in Law (Masaryk University, 2004).
Research interests span digital markets, antitrust policy, and legal pluralism. Recent works include analyses of algorithmic collusion, merger reforms, and tech giants' regulatory challenges. She has submitted policy consultations on competition laws and authored a monograph on vertical restraints in EU/US law.
Grants include funding for studies on digital era competition law and cartel enforcement. Awards include Fellowships at the Australian Centre for Private Law and CPILC.
