Barbara Wright is an Instructor II in the Department of Language & Literature at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU). She holds an M.A. in English Literature and an M.Ed. in Teaching English as a Second Language from The College of New Jersey, along with a B.A. in English/Education from Rider University.
Her research focuses on linguistic theory, conversation analysis, sociolinguistics, and pedagogical methods. She teaches courses in academic writing, literature, and English for international/bilingual students. Notable contributions include a chapter in The Timeless Toni Morrison and work on service-learning integration in composition courses.
