Barbara Poggio

Barbara Poggio is a Full Professor at the Department of Sociology and Social Research, University of Trento, and serves as Vice-Rector for Equity and Diversity Policies. She holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Trento and has held leadership roles, including Head of the Center for Interdisciplinary Gender Studies (2007–2021) and Chair of the Central Committee for Equal Opportunities (2015–2021). Her research focuses on gender, work, organizations, and inequality, with emphasis on narrative analysis, gender policies, and structural change in academia.
