Barbara Adonteng-Kissi

Dr. Barbara Adonteng-Kissi is a Lecturer in Social Work at the Faculty of Health, Southern Cross University. She holds a PhD from Griffith University and specializes in social work education and research with a focus on chronic illness management in rural Ghana and aged care systems in Australia.

Her research examines lived experiences of older individuals and family carers in Ghanaian communities while investigating structural improvements for aged care facilities in Australia. She maintains strong community engagement through collaborative relationships with health organizations.
