Dr. Baojun Bai is the Lester R. Birbeck Endowed Professor of Petroleum Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology. He holds dual affiliations as a Senior Research Investigator at the Center for Research in Energy and Environment (CREE). His academic journey includes PhDs in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering (New Mexico Tech, 2005) and Petroleum Geology (China University of Geoscience, 2002), an MS in Petroleum Engineering (RIPED Beijing, 1995), and a BS in Reservoir Engineering (Daqing Petroleum Institute, 1992).

- Deploying Preformed Particle Gel technologies in 1,000+ wells
- Creating commercial water control software
- Directing development of IOR-optimized reservoir simulators
