Mohamed Haroun is an Associate Professor at the College of Engineering, Khalifa University of Science and Technology, specializing in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering. His work bridges Petroleum Engineering and Environmental Engineering, focusing on sustainable energy solutions through hybrid Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) techniques, electrokinetics, and nanotechnology.

His expertise extends to petroleum economics, energy policy, and environmental engineering.
Dr. Haroun has authored over 90 publications, including a book, a chapter in the OPEC World Oil Outlook (2013), 4 awarded patents, and 6 pending patents in hybrid EOR/IOR technologies.
