Bala Balasingham Merhdad Saif

Dr. Bala Balasingham Merhdad Saif is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Windsor. He leads research in electric vehicle battery safety, energy systems, and sustainable transportation. His roles include academic leadership, strategic partnerships, and advancing interdisciplinary engineering initiatives. He has secured significant grants, including a $230,000 NSERC Discovery Grant for EV battery research.
