Prof. Dr. Babett Edelmann-Singer is a University Professor of Ancient History at the Free University of Berlin (Heisenberg Professorship) since 2023. Her research spans material culture, political history, and religious networks in premodern metropolitan contexts, focusing on Roman provincial elites, epigraphic analysis, and gender in imperial cults.
