BJ Wilkinson

BJ Wilkinson is an Assistant Professor and Head of Lighting Design at Virginia Commonwealth University's Department of Theatre. He also serves as Resident Lighting Designer and Master Electrician for Virginia Repertory Theatre, with recent designs including Atlantis, Sister Act, and West Wide Story. Additionally, he works with Quill Theatre on productions like As You Like It and Romeo and Juliet.

His expertise lies in theatrical lighting design, stage technology, and production engineering. While serving VCU for three years, he combines academic leadership with practical design work in professional theatre settings.
