Azadeh Ahmadi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Counseling and Higher Education at the University of North Texas. Her research focuses on community-based mental health interventions, measurement development, and intersectional approaches to counseling. She partners with community agencies to evaluate mental health outcomes and develop culturally responsive assessment tools.
Dr. Ahmadi holds a PhD in Counselor Education from Pennsylvania State University with specializations in Research Methodology and Educational Psychology. She is a National Certified Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor with clinical experience across diverse settings including domestic violence shelters, schools, and college counseling centers. Her work emphasizes practical applications of research to improve mental health services for marginalized populations.
