Brianna Randall, PhD, serves as an Assistant Professor and Fieldwork Coordinator in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at Catawba College's Department of Sport and Health Sciences. She holds dual credentials as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) and National Certified Counselor (NCC).

Dr. Randall earned her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Family Counseling from Jacksonville University, followed by a doctorate in Counselor Education from the University of Florida.
Her professional expertise spans clinical mental health counseling with specializations in anxiety, stress, and depression treatment. Dr. Randall employs evidence-based therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavior therapy and person-centered techniques, tailoring her services to each client's unique experiences and needs. Her teaching portfolio encompasses core counseling courses including Counseling Theories, Counseling Skills and Techniques II, Multicultural Diversity in Counseling, Research Methods and Program Evaluation, Group Counseling, Counseling Practicum, and Counseling Internship, as well as specialized courses in the Counseling minor such as Crisis Intervention and Stress and Anxiety Management.
Before joining Catawba College, Dr. Randall gained diverse clinical experience working with college students and Veterans. She has also served as a Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT) and volunteered as a crisis hotline counselor and at a domestic violence shelter, demonstrating a commitment to serving vulnerable populations.
