معرفی
Aynur İRMAK ER serves as a full-time Lecturer at the Department of Mining and Extraction Drilling Technology, Kaman Vocational School, Ahi Evran University, Turkey, since 2018. Her academic foundation includes a PhD in Civil Engineering from Gazi University (2019), an MSc in Geological Engineering from Fırat University (2016), and dual BSc degrees in Civil and Geological Engineering from Fırat University (2015 and 2013).
Her educational trajectory demonstrates interdisciplinary expertise:
- PhD in Civil Engineering, Gazi University, Faculty of Engineering (2019)
- MSc in Geological Engineering, Fırat University, Institute of Science (2016)
- BSc in Civil Engineering, Fırat University, Faculty of Engineering (2015)
- BSc in Geological Engineering, Fırat University, Faculty of Engineering (2013)
Her research program focuses on Building and Materials and Industrial Raw Materials, with significant contributions to sustainable resource utilization. She investigates waste material valorization in construction and geochemical properties of natural sediments for industrial applications, bridging civil engineering, geology, and materials science through experimental and field-based methodologies.
Publication trends reveal consistent investigation of material properties for sustainable applications: her 2017 work analyzed river sediments as industrial raw materials, while her 2025 study examined pozzolanic activity in granite waste composites. Both emphasize environmental sustainability and resource efficiency in construction materials.
Recognition includes:
- Faculty First Award, Fırat University (2013)
She has executed two major research projects: the Palu-Keban Dam sediment study (2015-2016) as Researcher, and the Terme geothermal resources project (2018-2023). Collaborative networks include Mehmet Yılmaz, Özge Erdoğan Yamaç, Leyla Kalender, and Salih Yazıcıoğlu, reflecting interdisciplinary partnerships in geological and civil engineering domains.
