Dr. Aymen Laadhari serves as an Assistant Professor in the Mathematics Department at Khalifa University, United Arab Emirates, a position he has held since January 2021. Prior to this, he was a Senior Researcher at ETH Zurich and conducted postdoctoral research at EPFL.

Dr. Laadhari's research focuses on Biomedical Modeling, particularly Cardiovascular Modeling, using advanced Numerical Methods and Scientific Computing to solve complex problems in Fluid Mechanics (including multiphase flows and fluid-structure interactions) and Solid Mechanics. His work integrates optimization techniques for biomedical applications, with emphasis on computational tools for predicting hemodynamic effects in cardiovascular procedures.
He actively supervises a diverse research team comprising Ph.D. student Ola Mohamed Mohamed, Master's students Marco Fedele and Lidea Stepanova, and Bachelor's students Matthieu Martin Simeoni and Ayat Mohamad Alfahel, alongside postdoctoral researcher Ahmad Deeb.
At Khalifa University, Dr. Laadhari leads a research group developing computational models for biomedical applications, maintaining international collaborations with institutions including EPFL and University Hospital Zurich.
