Ayaka Hisanaga-Probst is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Eastern Illinois University (EIU) where she directs the Behavior & Education Equity and Support (BEES) Lab. Her work centres on social justice in schools, suicide prevention, and the development of consultation tools for educators.

Her scholarly output to date explores multi-tiered suicide-prevention frameworks for schools, reflecting a broader commitment to translating research into practical consultation tools.
Professional Service: She is an active member of the American Psychological Association, National Association of School Psychologists, Association of Japanese Clinical Psychologists, and Japanese Association of Educational Psychology, and she advocates for data-driven resources that assist first-generation psychology students.
