Prof. Dr. Axel Hutter is Professor of Theoretical Philosophy at the Ludwig-Maximilian University Munich's Faculty of Philosophy, Philosophy of Science and the Study of Religion. He also directs the Master's program in Theoretical Philosophy and co-edits academic series at Mohr Siebeck and Alber Verlag.

- Classical German philosophy (Kant, Hegel, Schelling)
- Classical analytical philosophy (Frege, Wittgenstein)
- Quantum theories and narrative ontology
