Dr. Avi Ben-Zeev is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at London Metropolitan University's School of Social Sciences and Professions. Holding a PhD in Cognitive Psychology from Yale University, he specializes in social contextual factors affecting underrepresented groups in academic and workplace environments.
His research examines stereotype threat, microaggressions, and implicit bias, developing interventions like the Speaking Truth to EmPower (STEP) program. He investigates how social identities impact cognitive performance and educational persistence.
