Adam Fingerhut is a Professor of Psychology at Loyola Marymount University's Bellarmine College of Liberal Arts since 2007. His research focuses on intergroup processes, including social identity, implicit bias, and LGBTQ+ health disparities. He teaches courses on research methods, general psychology, and social psychology, emphasizing critical thinking and social justice.
Education: B.A. in Psychology from Stanford University; Ph.D. in Psychology from UCLA.
Research interests center on minority stress, allyship, and the intersection of identity with health and policy. He emphasizes contextual influences on human behavior and encourages students to confront societal biases through empirical and philosophical lenses.
