Austin Hahn

Dr. Austin Hahn is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). He holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of South Dakota and completed his postdoctoral training at MUSC’s Addiction Sciences Division. As Director of the SAMHSA-funded Family Tree Adolescent Substance Use Clinic, he specializes in developing interventions targeting co-occurring substance use and risky sexual behaviors. His work is supported by grants from NIAAA and NIDA, including a current K23 award for mobile health interventions in adolescents. Dr. Hahn’s research focuses on trauma-informed approaches, advanced analytics for behavioral prediction, and digital tools for clinical intervention delivery.
