معرفی
Aurélie Labarre is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Biology, Université Laval, focusing on microbial ecology and oceanography within the CFREF Sentinel North project "Last Ice Microbiomes and Arctic Ecosystem Health". Her work integrates metagenomics and ecological network analysis to study Arctic microbial communities under climate change.
- Education: Ph.D. in Marine Sciences/Bioinformatics (2020, UPC), M.Sc. in Microbiology/Genomics (2015, Université Laval), B.Sc. in Microbiology (2013, Université Laval)
Her research explores biogeochemical cycles (Nitrogen, Carbon, Sulfur), microbial connectivity in ice-covered seas, and the impact of light-driven photosynthesis shifts on nutrient utilization. Recent publications highlight evolutionary diversification of marine predators, phagocytosis mechanisms, and comparative genomics of uncultured microorganisms.
Key awards include the H2020 Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions SINGEK fellowship (2016). Collaborative efforts span institutions like Arizona State University, University of Oslo, and University of Exeter.
