Audrey St. John is a Professor of Computer Science at Mount Holyoke College, focusing on theoretical foundations and algorithms for geometric constraint systems with applications in robotics, biology, and computer-aided design. She leads initiatives like the iDesign Studio and MaGE program to broaden participation in STEM.
- PhD from UMass Amherst
- NSF CAREER awardee (2013)
- Co-developer of Microsoft's Tech Resilience program
Research Interests span combinatorial rigidity theory, algorithmic solutions for geometric problems, and inclusive education frameworks. Her work bridges discrete mathematics and applied computational geometry.
Awards:
- NSF CAREER award (2013)
- Mount Holyoke Teaching Award (2015)
- SPM '12 Best Paper (joint with Jessica Sidman)
Key Projects include developing low-risk hardware experiences via the Fimbel Maker Lab and peer mentoring programs.
