Dr. Audra Parker is a Professor in the School of Education at George Mason University and serves as Academic Program Coordinator for Elementary Education PK-6. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia.
Her research program focuses on:
- Clinical models in teacher preparation
- Elementary education program development
- Mentoring and supervision practices
- Professional development school partnerships
- Equity-focused teacher education
Dr. Parker's recent work examines collaborative approaches to addressing opportunity gaps in teacher education and supporting mentor teachers during challenging times. She has published extensively on clinical practice models and school-university partnerships.
