Auth's research focuses on the intersection of functional design and cultural expression in public spaces. He pioneers systematic approaches to visual communication where typography, emblem design, and wayfinding systems create cohesive identities for complex environments. His work demonstrates how historical design principles from the Bauhaus movement inform contemporary solutions for transportation hubs, cultural institutions, and urban landscapes. He emphasizes the social responsibility of designers in creating accessible, culturally resonant visual systems that serve diverse publics.
His recent publications and exhibitions reveal consistent engagement with design history's influence on contemporary practice. The Bauhaus 100 and Moholy-Nagy 125 projects demonstrate his scholarly interest in modernist legacies, while National Biennale catalogs document evolving Hungarian design trends. His work shows particular strength in translating historical typography principles into modern signage systems and corporate identities that balance aesthetic innovation with functional clarity.
