Elemér Márton Bartis serves as a master instructor and screen workshop manager at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts. Previously, he taught visual education at St. Mary the Help Roman Catholic High School (2017-2021) and graphic design at Nagy István Art High School (2008-2014) in Csíkszereda, Romania.
He earned his MA in Graphic Artist from the Department of Graphic Arts at the Ioan Andreescu Academy of Fine Arts, Cluj-Napoca (1992-1999).
Bartis specializes in Graphic Arts and Visual Arts with deep expertise in Screen Printing, Typography, Corporate Identity Design, and Applied Graphics. His creative practice spans building decoration copperwork, design graphics, and screen printing, demonstrated through extensive exhibitions across Europe including Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Italy. His work explores visual communication through both commercial applications and fine art contexts.
His notable recognitions include:
- Budapest Gallery Scholarship (2003)
- CreArt Network of Cities for Artistic Creation Scholarship (2014)
Bartis has founded and operated multiple studios including Grünspan (2004-2017) and Lynia Grafic (2001-2004), focusing on applied graphics and corporate identity. He actively participates in the art community through memberships in the National Association of Romanian Visual Artists (UAPR), Forte Graphic Association (2005-2008), and Transylvanian Art Group (2011-2016), while conducting international workshops such as the 2016 "Delicias sobre ruedas" program in Valladolid.
