Atkinson Janette

Janette Atkinson is a Professor of Psychology at University College London (UCL) since 1993. She has held significant positions at institutions including the Medical Research Council (MRC) External Scientific Staff at the University of Cambridge (1983-1993) and Senior Research Associate at Cambridge's Department of Experimental Psychology (1972-1983). Earlier roles include Research Associate at Johns Hopkins and the Institute of Behavioral Genetics, Colorado.

Research Interests: Janette's work focuses on developmental visual neuroscience, exploring normal and abnormal human vision development models, visuocognitive and spatial challenges in children, Williams Syndrome, and visual development in premature infants. Her research integrates neonatal MRI/fMRI techniques with infant vision screening and studies of visual attention and executive function.
