Atiah Aljabri is a PhD Student at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) and a Teaching Lecturer at Jazan University's Faculty of Law. His research focuses on copyright law, particularly Article 17's impact on intermediary liability within the EU. He holds a Bachelor of Law from Jazan University (2016) and an LLM in Business Law from Wake Forest University (USA).
Professional Experience: Taught courses on commercial law, Saudi judicial systems, and criminal procedures at Jazan University since 2017. Supervised demonstrators and lecturers (2021), and served on examination committees. Certified in Business Law (Wake Forest, 2023) and Mediation (2022). Member of Nazaha Club (2015-2016).
Research: Investigates how Article 17 of EU copyright law creates conflicts of interest among intermediaries, building on prior work with the World Intellectual Property Organisation.
