Athe M.N. Tsibris serves as Assistant Professor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School and holds dual leadership roles at the Harvard University Center for AIDS Research (HU CFAR), functioning as Co-Director of the Developmental and Mentoring Core and Executive Committee Member.
His research centers on advancing HIV/AIDS science through structured mentorship frameworks and career development initiatives for emerging investigators. As Co-Director of the Developmental and Mentoring Core, he spearheads programs including Research in Progress Meetings, First Wednesdays seminars, HOPE Conference, K Workshop grant preparation, and the T32 Training Program to cultivate the next generation of HIV researchers.
Dr. Tsibris contributes to HU CFAR's strategic direction through Executive Committee membership while focusing on capacity-building in HIV research through mentoring infrastructure development and interdisciplinary collaboration across substance use, hepatitis, malignancy, and women's health working groups.
