Aslak Rostad

Aslak Rostad is an Associate Professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), affiliated with the Department of Historical and Classical Studies in the Faculty of Humanities. His research focuses on classical philology, Greek rhetoric, and the works of Lucian of Samosata, alongside studies in ancient religion and modern fraternalism. He holds a PhD from the University of Bergen (2006) and has authored academic monographs such as Human Transgression – Divine Retribution (2020), exploring religious transgressions in Greek and Lydian-Phrygian inscriptions.
