Dr. Ashok Chanda is an Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota's Northwest Research and Outreach Center. He holds a PhD in Plant Pathology from Louisiana State University (2012), MS in Agriculture and Biotechnology from ANGR Agricultural University, India (2004), and BS in Agriculture from the same institution (2001).
His research focuses on plant pathology, particularly Rhizoctonia solani and Aphanomyces cochlioides in sugar beet. Key research areas include:

- Investigating genetic diversity of pathogens
