Ashley Pugh

Ashley Pugh is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Assistant Dean for Experiential Education at Union University's College of Pharmacy. She holds a Pharm.D. and B.S. from Union University. Her roles include coordinating the American Pharmacists Association’s Immunizing Pharmacists Special Interest Group and serving on various committees related to pharmacy practice. Dr. Pugh’s research focuses on immunization practices, migraine management, and experiential education. She has received multiple awards, including the Distinguished Young Pharmacist of the Year (2023) and APhA Foundation CEO for the Day (2024).

Her academic contributions include peer-reviewed articles and presentations on topics such as medication safety, student evaluations, and pharmacists' expanded roles in healthcare. Dr. Pugh is actively involved in professional organizations, reflecting her commitment to advancing pharmacy education and practice.
