Ashley Pigford is an Associate Professor with a joint appointment in the Departments of Art & Design and Fashion and Apparel Studies at the University of Delaware. Her work bridges design process and art practice, focusing on physical computing, postdigital processes, and language interrogation through digital and interactive media. She holds an M.F.A. in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design (2006) and a B.S. in Visual Communications from the University of Delaware (1996). Prior to academia, she was a successful graphic design proprietor in Los Angeles.
