Ashley McAlpine serves as a Full Time Lecturer in the Department of Statistical and Actuarial Science at the University of Western Ontario, a position she has held since August 2022. Prior to her academic appointment, she accumulated twelve years of industry experience as an Actuary at Canada Life (formerly London Life) from August 2010 to August 2022, specializing in Participating Life Insurance Valuation (2014-2022), Dividend Scale Management (2012-2014), and Wealth Management Product Development & Pricing (2010-2012).
Her academic credentials include:
- Bachelor of Science, Honours Specialization in Actuarial Science (2010) from the University of Western Ontario, where she received the Western Gold Medal for achieving the highest average in her graduating class
