Ashani Amarasinghe is an Adjunct Research Fellow at the Monash Business School, affiliated with Monash SoDa Labs. She holds a PhD in Economics from Monash University. Her research focuses on political economy, network empirics, conflict, and development, with an emphasis on how economic shocks propagate through societal networks. She employs innovative data and tools to analyze complex socio-economic systems.
