Paul Raschky is a Professor of Economics and Director of SoDa Labs at Monash University. His primary affiliations include the Department of Economics within the Monash Business School. He holds a PhD from the University of Innsbruck (2008) and has conducted postdoctoral research at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on political economy, environmental economics, insurance economics, and development economics, with an emphasis on natural hazards and the application of big data and digital tools to social science questions.

Research Interests:

His recent projects explore the effects of AI, internet censorship, and Chinese foreign aid on economic outcomes.

He co-founded KASPR Datahaus PTY LTD (a commercial spin-off) and the IP Observatory.
