Dr. Arundhathi Krishnan is an Assistant Professor in Mathematics at Mary Immaculate College (MIC), Limerick, Ireland. She holds a BSc from the University of Madras, an MSc, and a PhD from the Department of Mathematics at IIT Madras (2018). Her research focuses on operator algebras, noncommutative probability, and functional analysis. She has held postdoctoral positions at the University of Waterloo (2021–2022) and University College Cork (2018–2020). Key contributions include work on pseudospectra in Banach algebras and Markovian structures in Thompson groups. Dr. Krishnan actively participates in international seminars such as the Joint MIC MTU UCC Quantum Mathematics Seminar and has presented at institutions like Rutgers University and the Isaac Newton Institute. Her teaching includes courses like Introduction to Geometry and Abstract Algebra.
