Arthur Leader is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Medicine. He holds an MD from McMaster University (1972) and a BA (Honours) in Political Science and Economics from the University of Toronto (1969). His research focuses on translational studies in reproductive biology, clinical trials, and health quality assessment in human reproduction. He mentors physicians and students in clinical epidemiology and biostatistics, and communicates scientific advancements in infertility and embryology to the public.

Research Interests: Leader's work spans menstrual cycle disorders, fertility technologies, gender health disparities, and maternal/child health. Since 2018, he has served as an Adjunct Clinical Investigator at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute (OHRI) Clinical Epidemiology program. Office hours are by appointment only.
