Professor Arthur Bradley is a leading academic in Comparative Literature at Lancaster University, with visiting affiliations at the Institute of Philosophy (Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts), University of Durham, and American University of Beirut. His work bridges political theory, philosophy, and religion through a literary lens.
- Research Focus: Sovereignty, political erasure, and biopolitics
- Key Themes: Intersections of theater/politics, ethics of annihilation, philosophy of technology
Recent publications include the forthcoming Staging Sovereignty: Theory, Theater, Thaumaturgy (2025) and Unbearable Life: A Genealogy of Political Erasure (2019). His 2024-2025 articles analyze Hobbesian political theology and slavery in early technology philosophy.
