Arne Zerbst

Dr. Arne Zerbst is the President of the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts in Kiel, a position he has held since 2014. He is the first president of an art school to serve as Vice President of the German Rectors' Conference (HRK) since 2023. Previously, he held academic roles at the Braunschweig University of Fine Arts and the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities. His research focuses on aesthetics, artistic research, and the relationship between art and society. He actively promotes interdisciplinary projects, such as the 'Sprachkunst' series and collaborations with institutions like the Kieler Salons.
