معرفی
Arnaud Martel is a Professor at the University Institute of Technology (IUT) Le Mans, Le Mans University, with expertise in Organic Chemistry, Theoretical Chemistry, and Archaeological Chemistry. He teaches Analytical Chemistry, Molecular Modeling, and Organocatalysis.
- Education: Doctorate in Fine Chemistry (Organic Chemistry, 2001, University of Maine); DEA in Fine Chemistry (1997, University of Maine/Nantes); Master’s in Chemistry (1996, University of Maine)
Research Interests: Martel focuses on asymmetric synthesis, DFT mechanistic studies, and interdisciplinary projects like the Solarchéochimie initiative analyzing archaeological sediments. His work includes cycloadditions, ring-closing metathesis, and peptidomimetic design.
Publications: His 15 most recent articles highlight innovations in stereoselective reactions, computational modeling, and applications to archaeology and pharmaceuticals. Notable trends include asymmetric synthesis of amino acids, domino processes, and solvent effects in catalysis.
Scientific Awards:
- Marie Curie Fellowship (2003–2004)
Students & Collaborations: Mentored PhD student Arthur Laenger; collaborates with institutions in Rennes, Orléans, and Sweden. Holds administrative roles in IUT le Mans and IMMM unit councils.
